We’re sorry to inform all our users that we will be expecting a downtime on 11PM MST (GMT -7:00) Saturday May 16th due to some server related hardware upgrade. We expect the downtime to be 1-2 hours. The upgrade will greatly increase the performance of the website to help us serve you better.
During this period, our official website, the blog, as well as Photo Spot’s Global Highscore system will not be available for general usage. You can submit your high score right after the maintenance by simply accessing the high score menu within your iPhone. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences that it may cause.
Photo Spot Reaches 100,000 Downloads Milestone

Nexx Studio is proud to announce that Photo Spot, our very own spot the difference game app have exceeded the 100,000 downloads milestone after just 14 weeks on the App Store. Photo Spot have enjoyed a fair share of publicity from notable blogs such as the MacWorld, iPod Touch Fans, Apple Tell, AppCraver, as well as getting featured on the U.S. and Canadian’s App Store Staff Favorite section this past April. It has also accomplished the #1 most popular paid app position in several countries and top 10 in most of it.
Our staff will continue to deliver additional game images and improvement to Photo Spot over the period of time. Currently, we’re working on some other interesting game title that will be made available to the App Store soon.
We really appreciate those who have offered their support to our game and provided some feedback that helped us improve. Thank you.
Photo Spot: Global Challenge Patch Released

The much anticipated Photo Spot: Global Challenge patch which features a global high score chart feature in addition to the existing local high score listing has been released. A detailed version of the global high score is also made available on our official homepage. [Link]
In addition to the major addon, the game also feature 27 new game images to extend your gameplay to over 125+ possible game levels and the developer promises that at least 50 new images is set to follow in two weeks time. Existing flaws to the game such as the inability to identifying errors that were made when sound mode is disabled have been addressed in this update with an animated display icon.
The developer has also rewritten the random image generator to improve the randomness of the images that you will encounter as well as the overall performance of the game. Images that are deemed not playable by user’s feedback have also been improved.

Photo Spot Featured on U.S. App Store

Nexx Studio is proud to announce that our first iPhone game app, Photo Spot is featured under “Staff Favorites” at both the U.S. and Canadian App Store on April 1st. We have got to say that it’s amazing to see our App on the front page of the U.S. App Store for the first time.
April 1st marks the second month of our presence in the App Store and so far we have a recorded download hits of close to 65,000 times for both Photo Spot and Photo Spot Lite. Through this period we’ve enjoyed the best selling apps and best free apps position in several App Store around the world. We’ve yet to be anywhere near the success of other iPhone App Developers but we do feel very fortunate to have to have made it this far.

Photo Spot Hits Twenty Five Thousand Downloads

Nexx Studio’s Photo Spot and the recently launched Photo Spot Lite has exceeded twenty five thousand downloads just five week after its release to the iTunes App Store. It is probably a small count in comparison to big studios or popular game titles like Tap Tap Revenge and vastly popular applications like Facebook but it’s a great acheivement for an independent developer like Nexx Studio.
We would like to take this opportunity to announce that the upcoming patch on Photo Spot will be made available in two weeks time. This patch will include a global highscore ranking system and dozens of additional high quality images to expand your game play experience.
Looking forward to releasing more great games and applications to expand our presence in the App Store.

Photo Spot Lite Now in App Store!

We’ve proud to announce that Photo Spot Lite, a free version of Photo Spot for iPhone and iPod Touch platform has finally been released to the App Store.
Photo Spot Lite features over 20 interactive levels from the full version alongside with the functionality that can be enjoyed in Photo Spot. iPhone and iPod Touch gamers that had hesitated about getting the full version of Photo Spot can now try the Photo Spot Lite and find out what have you been missing out.
Photo Spot is currently the Top 50 Puzzle Games and at the same time claim the Top 25 spot in Family Games in the App Store. The game was also featured in Feb 6 edition of the MacWorld’s iPhone game roundup while the iPhone Touch Fans forum gave us a generous 9.7/10 rating and subsequently warned that “you won’t be able to stop playing” once you’ve tried it.
Photo Spot Lite Is Almost Ready!

We are proud to announce that Photo Spot Lite version is almost ready and it should be out in the App Store within a week. Photo Spot Lite will be equipped with all the existing features that can be enjoyed on the full version with a small 20 levels limitation and 20 sets of images will be available.
App Store’s shoppers who have not purchase Photo Spot at the concern of the game’s quality, can now run through the Lite version to find out what you’ve been missing out in our “Spot the Difference” classic!

Today marks the first week of Photo Spot’s presence in the Apple App Store around the world. We’ve received positive reviews from blogs and forums. In addition to that, we’ve also gathered a wide range of feedbacks from the early adopters. Photo Spot Awaiting App Store’s Approval

We’ve layed down the final piece of Photo Spot and submitted the App to Apple for approval. You should be expecting the game in the App Store in two weeks time. The game will be released with an introductory price of $0.99 and we’re still deciding on the final pricing.
