We are really excited about Apple announcement on the iPhone 4 release and the latest iOS at WWDC yesterday. Having a remarkable 960×640 pixel resolution (retina display) on that size of a screen is probably what we call would “HD” as oppose to what most developer name their iPad apps these days. Wouldn’t it be lovely looking at those crispy graphics on the apps that are built for your iPhones? Four times crispier than it was before! Will you be getting iPhone 4?
The Stupid Test 5 Awaiting App Store’s Approval

We are about to bring one of the most popular quiz game franchise to the App Store. The Stupid Test 5 is the latest sequel of the popular online quiz game The Stupid Test, famously known for it’s ‘Stupidity Meter‘. The game features 3 different game mode with over 200 questions and amazing background artwork by great designers from DeviantArt.
The Stupid Test 5 have recorded over 40 millions plays on the Internet till date and commonly ranked alongside popular quiz games such as The Idiot Test 3 and The Impossible Quiz that are available in the App Store. We have been working on a home-brewed card game App over the past few weeks and we can’t wait to offer our fans a sneak preview of the game. Reality Check: Free iPhone Apps by Independent Dev

A week ago, we announced the successful free campaign that we have conducted for The Idiot Test 3. Over 500,000 copies of the game was downloaded from the App Store, within a brief two weeks period of the campaign the game. This week’s report put that total to an astonishing 660,000 copies.
It is definitely a new milestone for our independent studio but it is time for a reality check. Our bills are still coming in and we do need to raise fund for our upcoming products. Furthermore Apple’s recent announcement that allow free app to integrate in-app purchase render our campaign useless and it is not feasible for us to compete with hoard of developers that are storming in to enjoy this new feature.
We are sad to announce that we will have to end our free campaign earlier than what we have previously announce (on the release of patch 1.1.0) for the above reasons and return to a normal $0.99. We truly appreciate everyone who have downloaded The Idiot Test 3 and made it the Top Free App in Canada, United Kingdom & Australia.

The Idiot Test 3: Half A Million Downloads

We are excited to announce that The Idiot Test 3 just hit half a million downloads since it was made ‘Free’ less than a month ago. Over the free period the game peaked to the top of the App Store download chart in United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Past 2 weeks alone, the app was downloaded at the rate of 20 users/per minute worldwide.
The latest patch v1.1.0 for The Idiot Test 3 was just submitted for approval this past Monday. We’ve included over 20 new brain teasing task for the game and some minor improvement around the game.
The game will be made $0.99 again when the new patch is approved into the App Store.

Patch v1.0.1 for The Idiot Test 3 Now Available

The first patch for The Idiot Test 3 was just approved on 3rd of July and it’s now ready for download for both existing users and new purchaser. We have submitted this patch over 18 days ago and it was finally approved. The patch was made available to address the flaws of the game in the original version.
Patch Summary:
• Added highscore screen
• Added precision to highscore value
• Display total time taken on winning screen
• Adjusted gameplay difficulty
• Corrected splash sequence
• Added missing task instruction
• Bug fixes
We have added a much required highscore screen to make the game more competitive on the device in addition to the Facebook status message feature that we already have in the existing version. In addition to that, the game difficulty was also adjusted to increase the fun. Several bugs was also addressed.
